Libby Knight has always been a compassionate animal-lover. At an early age, she recognized that all animals have unique personalities and should be treated with respect and empathy. While she was growing up, Libby always felt a special connection to her family's various pets. By means of close observation, she learned quickly how to decode animal body language. As a teen, she was so skilled at interpreting non-human communication, she once thought she was an animal psychic.
Through the years, Libby's passions have meandered into hobbies like archery, being a naturalist, and botany, but her steadfast interest has always been in companion animals and their welfare.
Libby Knight is a late-identified autistic woman. She believes that her divergent perspective of the world gives her special insights into the sensory-centered experiences of animals and uses those insights to make deeper connections with household pets.
